Employees with Wade Shows test a ride on Wednesday morning as crews finish up preparations for the 103rd South Mississippi Fair, which kicks off Friday at the Laurel Fairgrounds. The fair will conclude on Oct. 28. There will be concerts each night, kicking off Friday at 6:30 with a performance by The Classix. An Eagles tribute band is scheduled for Saturday at 6:30 on the Midway Stage. The cost for fair entry is $5, while parking is free.
