When Kathy invited the RHOBH ladies to her US$53 million mansion in Bel Air, mega wealthy co-star Sutton Stracke instantly quipped, “I’ve never felt so poor in my life.”
“This house … It’s next level,” said Crystal Kung Minkoff, who added she lives “up the street” from the Hiltons. “Kathy’s very generous with her court,” she added.
But that’s only the beginning of Kathy and Rick’s property portfolio. In 1999, they paid US$2.4 million for a seven-bedroom, three-acre (1.2-hectare) property in the Hamptons, which they rent out over summer seasons for upwards of US$400,000.
In 2016, they paid US$9.3 million for a large mansion in Bel Air, and in 2014, they paid US$2.5 million for a flat in New York City’s exclusive Pierre Hotel.

When Kathy hosted a dinner party during one episode, her friends and co-stars were blown away by the food, attention to detail and Kathy’s incredible staff that catered to her and her guests’ every need.
“Old school hospitality here at the Hiltons,” Lisa Rinna commented. “I don’t think anybody in this group has a staff like Kathy has. That’s money, honey, right there. That’s money.”
Dorit Kemsley loved the “silver platter [and] white gloves” used to serve food. “It’s all so fabulous,” she added.
Not only does Kathy have full time butlers working in the home – she also has irregular staff on rotation for special events.

When it comes to hosting special events, nobody throws a gathering, celebration or downright classy party like Kathy.
She explained in a recent episode of RHOBH: “To prepare for a dinner party, I’ve got to feel everything and touch, and I have a pet peeve: please don’t come five or 10 minutes early. Because that’s when I really am walking around to make sure that there’s a fresh bar of soap, that the toilet paper’s folded, perfumes are out … adjusting the lighting in the room,” she explained. “Those are the things I like to do. I’m a fluffer.”
When she hosted a viewing party for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ May 26 episode, she went all out as expected, decorating her backyard with balloons that spelt out “Beverly Hills” while serving guests “the largest pizza in the world” from Big Mama’s and Papa’s Pizzeria in LA.
That’s only the start of her hosting highlights. She loves to spoil her loved ones, and recently hosted a birthday party for family friend Paris Jackson.

Of course, Kathy is showered with freebies and gifts from family, friends and luxury brands.
Last year, she showed off a stunning, blinged-out Oscar de la Renta clutch gifted to her. “Thank you so much @oscardelarenta. It will come in handy this Oscars weekend,” she casually said.
And Oscar de la Renta must really love her, because she was back on its VIP list for this year’s New York Fashion Week. “Had a ball being a part of the [Oscar de la Renta] show!” she commented. “Beautiful collection … I can’t wait to wear it all!” (As you do.)

And while Kathy has a clothing collection most of us can only dream of, she has no problem re-wearing her outfits – even on camera. Case in point: her bright blue silk top by Elie Tahari that she wore during the season’s interview segments. In the September 1 episode, she wore her tried-and-true blue top again while prepping for a dinner party.
