Quentin Tarantino film star sadly dies as Jamie Foxx admits he's 'having a hard time'
An actor who starred in famous Quentin Tarantino movies has sadly died. The star, who worked on Django Unchained, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and The Hateful Eight was also good friends with Jamie Foxx.
Keith Jefferson, a Quentin Tarantino film actor, sadly passed away at just 53. His representative, Nicole St John announced the tragic news. The report has hit his friends and family hard, especially movie star Jamie Foxx who confessed he’s having a “hard time” dealing with the loss.
Keith Jefferson passes away from cancer

In August, the celebrity announced he had been diagnosed with cancer. But the devastating news took a toll on the Hollywood actor.
He admitted at the time he didn’t “want to share” the diagnosis with anyone, not even his family. But over time, his faith grew, and he was able to share the news with his family and fans.
He wrote at the time: “Every now and then God will give you a challenge and leave it up to you to fix it.
“When I was first diagnosed with cancer I had to stop, pause, and didn’t want to share with anyone. Not with my family nor extended family.
“Today I’m finally at a place to share because my faith is getting stronger.”
His rep told The Hollywood Reporter the Quentin Tarantino actor died on Thursday (October 5).
Alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Foxx, he played Pudgy Ralph in Django Unchained, back in 2012. Jefferson played one of the slaves at the beginning of the film, where Django is found. He’s the second background actor along the chained men that the light fixates on. He then secured the role as Charly in The Hateful Eight three years later. Charly is one of the employees of Minnie’s Haberdashery, who the Domergue Gang kills at the beginning, seen in a flashback towards the end.
The actor was still a favorite of famous director Quentin Tarantino as he came back to portray Land Pirate Keith in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in 2019.
Quentin Tarantino actor had close relationship with Jamie Foxx
Jefferson was friends with fellow Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx, and the pair met back in college.
But the loss is making “everything hurt” for the star, who paid tribute on social media after the news.

Jefferson and Fox met in San Diego and began working together in the 1990s. He made an appearance on The Jamie Foxx Show in two episodes. The last project they worked together on was the Prime Video drama called The Burial.
Jefferson was also a voice over artist, acting coach and producer. He is credited for working on Day Shift, Relative Opposites, You Too, Bosch: Legacy and Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!
On the stage, he appeared in Big River, Othello and Piano Lesson.
